Our Story
Not every day do you need your computer repaired – but when you do, you better know you’re in good hands.
PCari started in 2008, right in the middle of the financial crisis, when a lot of Antwerp families were suddenly weighing whether to fix an aging laptop or go without one entirely. Ari Veisberg, who had spent years quietly fixing machines for friends, neighbours, and their neighbours’ neighbours, decided the demand deserved a proper shop: no upsells, no jargon, just honest repairs at a fair price.
What began as one technician working out of a small lab grew, referral by referral, into a shop trusted by students, families, and small businesses across the city. The tools have changed since then – spinning hard drives gave way to SSDs, Windows XP gave way to Windows 11 – but the promise hasn’t: explain the problem in plain language, fix it right the first time, and never charge for anything you didn’t agree to.
These days PCari still answers its own phone, still quotes real prices up front, and still believes a repaired computer beats a new one in a landfill.
